Before meeting Phu Nhuan in the final round of the group stage of the National U13 Finals, U13 SLNA had 4 points after 2 matches and just a draw would be enough to help coach Nguyen Huy Hoang and his team get a ticket to the quarterfinals.

Facing a U13 Phu Nhuan team that was considered inferior, U13 SLNA rushed into the opponent's field right after the opening whistle. There were consecutive situations of firing at the opponent's goal by midfielders and strikers of U13 SLNA.

Meanwhile, after nearly 20 minutes of having to retreat to their home field to defend, U13 Phu Nhuan also had 2 counter-attacks. One of them created a storm for U13 SLNA goalkeeper Xuan Son's goal. And that was all the away team showed throughout the first half.

In the 25th minute, midfielder Cong Quy of U13 SLNA once again hit the crossbar, much to the regret of Nghe An fans in the stands. At this time, the U13 SLNA coaching staff began to make some changes to create a difference by sending Vo Anh Quan in to replace Tran Quoc Trieu.

Finally, the pressure from the home team caused U13 Phu Nhuan to make a mistake. In the 28th minute, U13 SLNA was awarded a penalty and Cong Quy easily defeated goalkeeper Quang Hien of Phu Nhuan, opening the score of the match.

In the second half, the main striker Be Thua was withdrawn but that did not reduce the attacking power of U13 SLNA. In the 53rd minute, it was thanks to luck and a brilliant performance of the Phu Nhuan goalkeeper that the away team did not concede a third goal.

With the one-sided game, the next goal for Coach Huy Hoang's students was predictable. In the 57th minute, number 15 easily eliminated the opposing goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation, finishing accurately to raise the score to 3-0 for U13 SLNA. Just a few minutes later, this player had the opportunity to face the Phu Nhuan goalkeeper from a delicate pass from his teammate. Unfortunately, the opportunity was missed because the opposing team's goalkeeper rushed out to clear the ball.

Right at the last minute of the match, number 10 Phu Nhuan scored an honorable goal from the Penalty kick. The score was shortened to 1-3 for U13 Phu Nhuan. And that was also the final result of the match.
