Enforced payment of tax arrears to 13 business households at Vinh Ga market

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 21, Vinh City Tax Department coordinated with Le Loi Ward People's Committee to organize the forced seizure of assets of 13 tax-debt business households at Vinh Ga market.

Currently, at Vinh Ga market, there are 13 households selling items such as clothes, handbags, jewelry... that are slow to pay, with a long-term tax debt totaling nearly 60 million VND. Among them, there are some households that owe tax for over 20 months such as: Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, Pham Thi Tuyet, Nguyen Thi Thu Hai...

After many times of working, propagandizing and mobilizing, the business households still refused to comply with their tax payment obligations. The Vinh City Tax Department issued decisions to enforce tax administration and organized enforcement and property seizure to collect enough tax and fines from these business households.

During the enforcement, some households paid taxes totaling nearly 20 million VND. However, some businesses resisted, were uncooperative, and closed their stalls when the authorities performed their duties. The working group drew up a record and sealed all the goods, awaiting processing according to the law.

Vinh City: 500 businesses participate in dialogue on new tax policies

Also this morning, Vinh City Tax Department held a dialogue conference on new tax policies with businesses participating in tax payment in the area.

At the conference, more than 500 businesses directly participating in the dialogue listened to leaders of the Tax Department and specialized officers answer questions and disseminate tax policies in the production and business process, and introduce new contents in Circular No. 300 of the Ministry of Finance...

At the Conference, there were 15 probing questions about paying corporate income tax, personal income tax; how to deploy and use electronic invoices, VAT invoices for products and goods, which were answered by representatives of Vinh City Tax Department, guiding businesses to resolve.

At the same time, a number of businesses directly discussed difficulties in applying the new tax policy effective from January 1, 2017 and received specific answers from the Tax Department officers.
