Korean charity organization awards scholarships to 30 poor students in Con Cuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 19, the Korea Commercialization Revitalization Association (KTCA) coordinated with Con Cuong district to organize the program "Sharing Little Love" to support disadvantaged children in the area.
The "Sharing Little Love" program of the Korean Commercialization Revitalization Association will be implemented from August 2017 to August 2023, supporting 30 poor Dan Lai children and children infected with Agent Orange in Con Cuong district.
Accordingly, each child will receive a regular scholarship of 300,000 VND per month, from the age of 11 to 17, with a total estimated cost of 816 million VND.

On this occasion, the program organized exchanges, gave gifts and awarded scholarships for the first 3 months to 30 poor Dan Lai ethnic students and children infected with Agent Orange in 3 communes: Chau Khe, Mon Son and Thach Ngan.
In addition, each child is given a female goat to care for until she gives birth to her first litter. The next litter of goats will be given to another poor child.

During the 6-year implementation of the "Sharing Little Love" program, children will continue to connect and exchange about life and study with members of the KTCA organization, to help them have more motivation to work and study better, to be independent, to share and help those in difficult circumstances in the community./.
