Terrorist suspect stabs US police officer at airport in Michigan
On June 21, Bishop Airport in Flint (Michigan, USA) had to be evacuated after a suspected terrorist with a Canadian passport stabbed a police officer in the neck.
The man, who was identified as Amor Ftouhi, 50, a Canadian passport holder from Quebec, shouted “Allahu Akbar” (Arabic for “God is great”) as he stabbed Officer Jeff Neville in the neck in a public area of Bishop Airport.

The incident occurred at around 10am (local time) causing panic at Bishop Airport, police had to evacuate people urgently while authorities increased security throughout the city.

The health condition of the seriously injured police officer has now improved to stable.

Law enforcement officials said the FBI is treating the incident as a terrorist attack.
The subject is being held for investigation. The FBI said that Ftouhi said something similar to: “You kill people in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan and we are all going to die.” In his statement, Ftouhi also asked why the police officer did not kill him.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer said President Donald Trump had been briefed on the incident.
Canadian police also searched Amor Ftouhi's residence in Montreal and made two related arrests.
Amor Ftouhi legally entered the US at Champlain Lake, New York on June 16. The FBI said it is trying to determine where he traveled after entering the US./.
