Nghe An Rubber Coffee Company celebrates 20th anniversary

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 21, Nghe An Coffee - Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Provincial Labor Federation.

Currently, Nghe An Coffee - Rubber Company Limited has 5 farms including Tay Hieu I, Tay Hieu II, Tay Hieu III, Dong Hieu, Co Do and the Enterprise for purchasing and processing rubber coffee for export. After 20 years of establishment and development, Nghe An Coffee - Rubber Company Limited has overcome difficulties to affirm its growth in production and business.

The company is currently managing 2,540 hectares of rubber, 650 hectares of oranges and hundreds of hectares of sugarcane; annual product volume is from 4,000 - 4,500 tons of rubber latex; 4,000 - 4,500 tons of oranges and from 25,000 - 30,000 tons of sugarcane; annual revenue reaches from 140 - 180 billion VND.

Along with investing in new planting, the company has invested in 4 coffee processing lines using Brazilian wet processing technology with a capacity of 20 tons/hour. In addition, the company has also invested 17 billion VND to complete irrigation works.

With the results achieved, the company was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President; many individuals were awarded many certificates of merit and certificates of merit by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Nghe An General Confederation of Labor.
