(Baonghean.vn) - Defeating U13 SLNA in the penalty shootout to enter the final match, U13 HAGL continued to make their opponent Viettel suffer in the final match.

Right after the opening whistle, U13 Viettel were the ones who dominated and created more chances than HAGL. However, HAGL players with a well-balanced squad still stood firm against the opponent's attacks. This caused the first half of the final match to end without any goals being scored.

In the second half, U13 HAGL unexpectedly scored a goal from an infiltration effort by player Hoang Thang on the right wing. Player Duc Long was the one who took advantage of his teammate's cross pass to score the opening goal for the home team.

From the 35th minute onwards, the pace of the match became faster, with both teams trading blows. However, in the 39th minute, the red team had another chance to double the gap. Defender Tran Van Nhan of U13 HAGL had a chance to face Viettel's goal, the number 2 player got past goalkeeper Cong Manh but his final move was indecisive, causing the opportunity to slip away.

When there was not much time left in the match, U13 Viettel increased the pressure and in the 45th and 46th minutes, Thai Bao and his teammates had consecutive shots but could not beat HAGL goalkeeper Bao Duy.

On HAGL’s side, when they had a 1-goal lead, coach Dinh Hong Vinh’s students still had a shot hit the crossbar by Hoang Ngoc Thien in the 45th minute. That was also the last dangerous chance of the final match. Unable to find an equalizer, U13 Viettel accepted a 0-1 loss in the final match and had to watch HAGL win the 2017 National U13 Football Championship.

At the end of the tournament, U13 HAGL won the Championship, U13 Viettel won the Runner-up position, U13 SLNA and U13 Binh Dinh teams shared the Third Prize.
