Dani Alves turns away from Guardiola, prepares to sign with PSG
The Brazilian defender is about to sign a two-year contract to play for PSG, not to join his old coach at Man City.
According to French media sources, Alves is currently in the hexagonal country for a physical examination. The Brazilian defender and PSG will soon complete the contract signing.
Alves' move to PSG was a big surprise in the summer transfer window. According to Goal, Man City had reached an agreement with the player's agent about the possibility of signing a contract to play in the 2017-2018 season. This is where Pep Guardiola, Alves' former coach at Barca, is currently the coach.

Man City have pursued many star right-backs in the summer transfer window such as Kyle Walker (Tottenham), Benjamin Mendy (Monaco) and Alves. So far, none of these goals have been achieved.
Alves will be PSG's first big name signing of the summer. The Parc des Princes are also chasing young prodigy Kylian Mbappe for a record fee of $150 million.
Alves played for Barca for eight years from 2008 to 2016. This was also the period when the Brazilian star was praised as the best right-back in the world.
