At exactly 12:10 p.m. on August 22 (local time), the plane carrying General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation on an official visit to the Republic of Indonesia landed at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. |

At the airport to welcome the delegation were Minister of Commerce, Co-Chairman of the Indonesia - Vietnam Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Engatiato Lukita and a number of Indonesian government officials. |

On the Vietnamese side, there were Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia Hoang Anh Tuan, Ambassador, Head of the Vietnamese Delegation to ASEAN Nguyen Hoanh Nam, Embassy staff, representatives of the Vietnamese community and businesses in Indonesia. |

The visit is of historical significance, as this is the first visit by the General Secretary of our Party to Indonesia. |
