Tan Ky rewards nearly 126 million VND to excellent teachers and students

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 18, Tan Ky District People's Committee held a ceremony to commend and reward teachers and students with high achievements in the 2016 - 2017 school year.

In the 2016-2017 school year, the Department of Education and Training of Tan Ky district has effectively carried out the "Two Good" campaigns and emulation movements. Thanks to that, the quality of education has changed positively and has won many high prizes in provincial and national competitions.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Tan Ky district awarded certificates of merit and nearly 126 million VND in bonuses to teachers and students with achievements, including 121 excellent teachers at the national and provincial levels, teachers who trained students to achieve high scores in the national and provincial excellent student competitions, and 111 junior high and high school students who achieved high results in provincial and national competitions in the 2016-2017 school year. Among them, many students have difficult circumstances, but with determination and efforts to overcome, they have achieved excellent results in their studies.

Also at the commendation ceremony, the Tan Ky District Association for Promotion of Education awarded prizes to 10 teachers and students who won first prizes in provincial and national competitions./.
