Nghia Dan Police reward for breaking up a case and seizing 2,000 drug pills

(Baonghean.vn)- Detectives approached and arrested two young men who were trading drugs and seized 7 packages of white powdered polyethylene and a three-number cigarette pack containing about 2,000 synthetic drug pills.

In early August 2017, Nghia Dan District Police discovered that two subjects, Mai Van Vinh (born in 1996) and Mai Van Dung (born in 1995), residing in Bac Hong hamlet, Dien Hong, Dien Chau, regularly supplied drugs to a number of subjects in Nghia Dan, Thai Hoa town and brought them to the northern provinces for consumption. Nghia Dan Police established a drug project codenamed 917V to destroy this ring.

At around 7:00 p.m. on September 5, 2017, detectives discovered the two subjects leaving the house on a motorbike with license plate 37F1-1886.27 heading towards Dien Chau - Hoang Mai. At 8:00 p.m. the same day, they arrived at the Dong Hoi intersection, in Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town, and met a man waiting there.

Identifying the subjects who were buying and selling drugs, the detectives approached and arrested them. Despite fierce resistance, the two subjects were handcuffed. The evidence was 07 packages of white powdered polyethylene and a three-number cigarette pack containing about 2,000 synthetic drug pills.

Currently, Nghia Dan Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case.

On September 6, 2017, Nghia Dan District People's Committee awarded the investigation team 10 million VND.
