Nghe An: Electricity has been supplied to 300 out of 480 communes.

(Baonghean.vn) - According to a report from Nghe An Power Company, by the evening of July 17th, Nghe An Power Company had mobilized its forces to fix the problem and had restored power to 300 out of 480 communes throughout the province.

Accordingly, 105 out of 115 medium-voltage power lines experienced outages, and 49 lines have now been repaired.

The total number of customers still without electricity is 530,000 out of 930,000. The total number of wards, communes, and towns that have electricity is 300 out of 480.

Currently, all towns and district centers have electricity. Important units such as the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Radio and Television Station, the Nghe An Newspaper, and the Hospital... have been supplied with electricity. The total number of main pumping stations currently without power is 2 out of 5.

In the affected areas, Typhoon No. 2 also caused damage, with 108 medium-voltage poles and 5,647 low-voltage poles collapsing. Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hien, Deputy Director of Nghe An Power Company, said: The power sector is still mobilizing forces to repair the damage so that electricity can be restored to the affected areas as soon as possible.
