In addition to the Best Player award, Ronaldo also received the Best Forward award for the 2016-2017 season. This is the result achieved by the Portuguese star after competing with Paulo Dybala and Messi.

Buffon received the award for Best Goalkeeper, while Sergio Ramos was crowned Best Defender and Luka Modric was Best Midfielder.

The best female player was Lieke Martens (Barca), who surpassed Pernille Harder (Wolfsburg) and Dzsenifer Marozsan (Lyon).
