Tan Thang Cement Project has proactively anticipated the trend of "Industrial Revolution 4.0" by purchasing advanced equipment, allowing the connection of technologies together, forming an optimal management model to produce high-quality cement products with competitive prices, environmentally friendly... To achieve that goal, right from the beginning, the Project Management Board organized a competitive international bidding, selecting 5 leading contractors in the world in the field of cement equipment technology including: Bedeschi Spa - Italy, FLSmidth A/S - Denmark, Loesche - Germany, Haver & Boecker - Germany and ABB Switzerland to design and supply a synchronous production line with advanced technology, modern equipment among the most advanced in the world. Notably, the ROTAX-2™ dry method rotary kiln system has the lowest heat loss warranty index in the entire Vietnamese cement industry, can use a variety of coal types; The raw material grinding, coal grinding, and cement grinding systems are all the latest generation grinding machines in the world, supplied by FLSmidth - Denmark and Loesche - Germany; The modern automatic bagging system with high precision, producing multi-purpose cement bags for both covered and uncovered vehicles, is supplied by Haver & Boecker - Germany.

In particular, at Tan Thang Cement project, we have focused on investing in an automated electrical system - the core of 4.0 technology - at a high level, with centralized control to synchronously control the factory's operations, connecting electronic, mechanical and environmental technologies together. This system is provided by ABB - Switzerland; Electricity consumption is about 85 kW/ton of cement, heat consumption is less than 720 kcal/kg of Clinker, these are the lowest consumption indicators in the entire cement industry today; the entire factory equipment line is guaranteed to be 100% new and manufactured from 2016 onwards. The outstanding point in production is that the generated dust is completely treated by modern bag dust filters, ensuring that the dust concentration at the output is always less than 30 mg/Nm3, and the cement grinding area is less than 20 mg/Nm3. This indicator fully complies with and even better meets the current regulations of the State. This is the answer to why when the factory goes into high-intensity production, the environment will still be green, clean and absolutely safe.

With Tan Thang Cement, the latest technology allows the production of both regular Clinker and special Clinker to produce cement products from PCB40, PC50... to special cement types such as: low heat cement, fast-setting cement, salt-resistant cement... according to market demand. The distributed cement products are also very diverse. From regular 50 kg bags, jumbo bags weighing from 500 - 2,000 kg and packaging types to serve domestic and export needs. The supply of Tan Thang Cement is convenient because it is equipped with a modern automatic bagging system with high precision, exporting multi-purpose bag cement provided by Haver & Boecker - Germany.

The big advantage of the Tan Thang cement project is the very low investment capital, only at 2.09 million VND/ton, equivalent to 92.57 USD/ton of cement (total investment of 4,086 billion VND for a production line with a capacity of 2 million tons of cement/year). Explaining this effective investment, some cement industry experts said that the key is that the project has researched and analyzed the current situation of the cement industry in Vietnam and the region to come up with appropriate investment solutions. For example, the technology equipment and production line are the most modern in the world, while other investment segments promote existing advantages, capacity and creativity of Vietnam, using domestic construction and installation units under the supervision of EU and G7 experts, thereby reducing investment levels, ensuring source technology and quality, and facilitating maintenance and repair during future operations.

Tan Thang Cement Project will be completed and put into operation in 2019, annually supplying 2 million tons of high-quality cement to meet market demand. In addition to financial efficiency, when put into operation, it will create jobs for more than 500 direct workers and thousands of indirect workers in the locality. Annually contributing to the state budget about 221 billion VND, leading to investment and development of supporting industries, contributing to changing the economic structure of Nghe An province towards industrialization, modernization, increasing the proportion of industry and services in the locality.
