The Croatian midfielder has just signed a new contract, staying with Inter Milan for another 5 years.

Inter, on September 8, announced that Ivan Perisic had just signed a new contract until 2022.

Perisic quyết định ở lại, gắn bó lâu dài với Inter vì tin tưởng vào dự án của CLB với HLV Spaletti.
Perisic decided to stay and commit to Inter long-term because he believes in the club's project with coach Spaletti.

The Croatian winger has given up on leaving Inter after the appointment of Luciano Spalletti as coach. Perisic told his teammates that he felt he could develop further under the Italian.

“This is a special and emotional day,” Perisic said on signing his new contract. “The summer has been difficult and stressful. Now I am looking forward and focusing on Inter Milan. I met with coach Spalletti before the new season. He told me I can improve even more.”

Perisic joined Inter from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015. He is one of the top attacking midfielders in Serie A, making 68 appearances over the past two seasons. For his country, Perisic has scored 16 goals in 56 games.

Perisic has been a target for Man Utd all summer. In July, the English team sent an offer but it was rejected by Inter. Coach Spalletti sees Perisic as a pillar of the team he wants to build in the future.

Without Perisic, Man Utd will turn to find another attacking player on the other wing in the winter, according to Jose Mourinho's wishes.
