Barca aims for Dybala to replace Neymar

The Nou Camp team has started to target a few suitable names, in case Neymar insists on moving to PSG.

Marca reports that Barca have contacted representatives of striker Paulo Dybala. The Juventus striker is one of the names that can replace Neymar at Barca.

Dybala, 23, has a good relationship with Lionel Messi thanks to being a compatriot. The young striker is expected to inherit Messi's responsibilities in the Argentina team, once he retires from international football.

But contacting Dybala is just a precaution, and Barca's main task is to convince Neymar to continue at the Nou Camp. Club president Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed that Neymar will definitely stay. Center-back Gerard Pique also reassured fans with a similar message.

But Pique also added that he would understand if Neymar left, because the Brazilian striker wants to be the center of the team. Neymar is the captain and inspiration of the Brazilian national team, but is only Messi's second in command at club level.

M10 just signed a new contract to stay at Barca until 2021, and Neymar can't wait forever.

To buy Neymar, PSG will have to pay 258 million dollars to break the contract with Barca. Meanwhile, to buy Dybala, Barca only needs to spend about 76 million dollars - the young Argentine striker's value on the player valuation website.
