(Baonghen.vn) - For the past few days, public opinion in Thai Hoa has been abuzz about the Director of the Thai Hoa Town People's Credit Fund allegedly defaulting on debts and fleeing with the money. However, the situation is not as described.
In recent days, news about Ms. Pham Thi Bich Mai, Director of the People's Credit Fund of Thai Hoa town, defaulting on her debts and fleeing has caused widespread panic, with some people going to the fund to withdraw their money.
Regarding the above information, Mr. Nguyen Kim Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Hieu Ward, said: From June 24 to 29, there was such information and many people came to withdraw money from the People's Credit Fund of the ward, causing instability in security and order in the area.
On June 29th, Hoa Hieu ward held a meeting attended by the Party Committee, the People's Committee leadership, the Fatherland Front, and invited leaders of the People's Credit Fund, including the Board of Directors, Director, Deputy Director, and Supervisory Board, to participate.

At the meeting, the leaders of the People's Credit Fund stated that the Fund is operating normally, achieving good results, and that there is no truth to the claim that the Director of the People's Credit Fund has absconded.
At the meeting, the People's Credit Fund Council also requested the ward to pay attention and report the matter to relevant authorities to stabilize the situation. The fund's leaders suggested that malicious rumors might be due to unfair competition.
According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Hai, there are currently 14-15 currency exchange businesses operating in the area, and they are quite competitive.
