Charity concert to support poor families

(Baonghean.vn) - On the night of September 3, at Tru Son Commune Stadium (Do Luong), the Do Luong charity group sharing love organized a charity music night to support two families in difficult circumstances in the commune.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Cuc's family in Hamlet 5, Tru Son Commune has 3 members, all of whom are seriously ill. Mrs. Cuc herself is suffering from breast cancer. Her husband was infected with Agent Orange, and her adopted daughter has a mental illness. Mrs. Cuc is currently bedridden, unable to walk, and her husband takes care of all her daily activities. Her family's circumstances are extremely difficult.

The family of Nguyen Hung Viet in Hamlet 12, Tru Son Commune is a Catholic family with a difficult situation. Viet himself has been disabled since childhood, has to use a wheelchair, cannot work, and has to support his elderly mother.

At the end of the music night, the Organizing Committee awarded more than 38 million VND to the two families of Mrs. Cuc and Mr. Viet.

The charity music night took place in a warm and sharing atmosphere with touching performances from the Do Luong charity group sharing love, the Tru Son commune art troupe, soldiers of Division 324..., with thousands of Tru Son residents and neighboring communes attending.

The music night received help and support from many groups, individuals, and families inside and outside Tru Son commune. At the end of the music night, the organizers raised more than 38 million VND. This amount was given directly to Mrs. Cuc and Mr. Viet's families right on stage, each family received more than 19 million VND.
