Coach Didier Deschamps confirmed that prodigy Mbappe left Monaco but continued to play in Ligue 1.

"He left Monaco but stayed in Ligue 1. If he makes the right decision, the future will reward him," coach Deschamps said at a press conference on August 28.

Mbappe is currently at the center of rumors of a move to PSG for around $200 million. Due to a dispute with Monaco over the transfer, the 18-year-old star has been sidelined for the last three Ligue 1 matches.

Mbappe is also one of the French players that Deschamps is paying close attention to. The 18-year-old star has only played for the team since the middle of this year after scoring 26 goals in all competitions for Monaco last season.

Mbappe is about to become a PSG player.

The French team is currently gathering players to prepare for the international matches that will take place in the next two weeks. This is also the period during which, according to Deschamps' regulations, his players are not allowed to go to their new clubs to carry out medical examination procedures.

In a similar case to Mbappe, Deschamps proposed a solution: "The players will focus on playing for the national team, but can have a medical examination right here instead of going to the new club."
