France national team coach confirms Mbappe's move to PSG.
Coach Didier Deschamps confirmed that prodigy Mbappe has left Monaco but will continue to play in Ligue 1.
"He left Monaco but remained in Ligue 1. If he makes the right decision, the future will reward him," coach Deschamps said in a press conference on August 28.
Mbappe is currently at the center of rumors linking him to PSG for around $200 million. Due to a transfer dispute with Monaco, the 18-year-old star has been sidelined for the last three Ligue 1 matches.
Mbappe is also one of the French players that Deschamps is paying close attention to. The 18-year-old star only started playing for the national team in the middle of this year after scoring 26 goals in all competitions for Monaco last season.

Mbappe is about to become a PSG player. |
The French national team is currently gathering its players to prepare for the international matches that will take place over the next two weeks. This is also the period during which, according to Deschamps' regulations, the players are not allowed to travel to their new clubs for medical check-ups.
In a similar situation to Mbappe's, Deschamps proposed a solution: "The players will focus on playing for their national team, but can undergo medical checks right here instead of going to their new club."
