On September 14, Tan Ky District People's Court tried the criminal case against Nguyen Anh Hao (born in 1984, residing in Tan Thang hamlet, Tan Long commune, Tan Ky district) for the crime of "Illegal possession of narcotics".

When arrested, Nguyen Anh Hao was a medical officer in Tan Thang hamlet, Tan Long commune.

According to the indictment, at around 10:00 a.m. on July 6, 2017, Hao and a man named Hanh (unknown background) went together to buy drugs for use. Afterwards, Hanh drove Hao on a motorbike to Yen Thanh district to buy drugs.

About 20 minutes later, Hanh returned and gave Hao a small package of heroin wrapped in yellow tin foil. Hao took the package.heroinGo home, put it in a tobacco box and hide it in the basement of the house.

At 11:00 a.m. on July 7, Hao took out the heroin package and divided it into two parts. He left one part in the same place and put the other part in his pocket to use.

While buying laundry detergent at a nearby grocery store, Hao saw that there were many people in the store, so he took a package of heroin and hid it in a nearby electric pole. He was discovered and caught red-handed by the Traffic Police Team No. 3 (PC67, Nghe An Provincial Police).

At 1:55 p.m. on July 7, the District Police Investigation Agency searched Hao's house and discovered a small package containing white powder suspected to be heroin.

In the conclusion of the appraisal No. 812/KL-GD-PC 54 dated July 9, 2017 of the Criminal Techniques Department of Nghe An Provincial Police, it was concluded that the white powder sample seized from Hao was heroin weighing 0.12 grams.

In court, Hao confessed to all his crimes. The panel sentenced Nguyen Anh Hao to 1 year in prison./.
