Leaders of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Foreign Trade University said that admission scores for some majors could increase by up to 3 points compared to last year.

In particular, the group's preparation and training on the selection process was carried out a month ago, and the virtual data practice also went smoothly.

The Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Science and Technology informed that after receiving data from the Ministry of Education and Training, the schools ran the admission software twice on July 26 and 27.

On July 28, the Northern recruitment team conducted virtual screening twice, both with good results.

On the afternoon of July 30, the Northern admissions team will meet to determine the list of successful candidates, ensuring that the number of admitted candidates does not exceed the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Regarding Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Mr. Top said: The number of applications after adjusting the application has decreased compared to the number of applications in April. The reason is that the school has a high entrance score (some majors require 24 points or more).

The school's vice principal said that the benchmark scores for all technical majors increased from 1 to 1.5 points, with some majors increasing by up to 2 points.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology has great attraction for the fields of Information Technology, Mechatronics, Telecommunications Electronics, English teaching programs, and foreign cooperation.

At Foreign Trade University, in the most recent virtual filtering score statistics table, the candidate with the highest score registering for the school was 32.25 points. Notably, out of the total of nearly 17,000 registered candidates, nearly half scored 27 points or higher.

However, according to the forecast of the technical team, this year's benchmark scores will increase by 1-2 points compared to last year. In particular, some majors' benchmark scores may increase by up to 3 points compared to last year.

High benchmark scores can fall into the NTH01 group (Economics, International Economics, Law) and the NTH02 group (Business Administration, International Business).

According to the process, on the afternoon of July 30, the Northern admissions team will agree on the final benchmark score, then receive virtual filtering. It is expected that on the evening of August 1, the school will announce the official benchmark score./.
