How to treat shrimp allergy

Currently, there is no cure for allergies in general, and seafood allergies in particular. Therefore, prevention is best, mainly by avoiding foods that trigger allergies.

If you accidentally ingest it, you need to remove the allergenic food from your body as soon as possible (by inducing vomiting).

If the allergy is mild, folk remedies can be used (applicable to shrimp and other seafood).

1.10g of fresh ginger, 100g of mung beans, 15g each of fresh perilla leaves and fresh reed roots. Wash the ginger, reed roots, and perilla leaves, crush them, and squeeze out the juice. Put this juice and mung beans into a pot, add enough clean water, and cook until the mung beans are tender.

2.Honey: When experiencing itching after eating seafood, drink a glass of warm water mixed with 1 tablespoon of honey. Honey, rich in vitamins, can help reduce itching and is considered one of the best remedies for seafood allergies.

3.Lemon: Excellent for all types of allergies, most effective for shrimp. When experiencing a rash, immediately drink a glass of warm water with fresh lemon juice.

4.Vegetable juice: Drinking a glass of vegetable juice after eating seafood helps reduce tongue swelling and boosts the immune system.

In severe cases, patients need to be taken to medical facilities to receive antihistamine medication – but this only treats the symptoms, counteracting the effects of released histamine on the body, and does not prevent severe allergic reactions such as anaphylactic shock or difficulty breathing.

Therefore, when symptoms are detected...shrimp allergyIf you experience food poisoning from shrimp or seafood, go to the hospital immediately and do not self-medicate with allergy medications.

Doctors advise that if you know you often have allergic reactions to shrimp or other seafood, it's best to avoid them to eliminate the cause of the allergy. Alternatively, try a small amount of a different seafood dish to test your body; if you don't experience any allergic reaction, then you can eat more of it next time. There's no need to completely give up all delicious and nutritious seafood dishes.

Note:

- Avoid eating raw shrimp, fish, or seafood that is not thoroughly cooked, as this can easily lead to illness.

- When suffering from conjunctivitis, you should avoid eating shrimp as it can worsen the condition.

- People who have previously had seafood allergies should absolutely avoid shrimp.

- People with coughs have respiratory systems that are very sensitive to shrimp, causing persistent coughing.

- Avoid eating raw or undercooked shrimp as it can easily cause illness due to parasites living in the shrimp. Eating undercooked shrimp over the long term is not good for your health.

- You should wait about 4 hours after eating shrimp before eating fruits rich in tannic acid.

- It's best to remove all the shells because they can easily contain chemicals and are dangerous to eat, especially for children. Shrimp shells also don't contain as much calcium as people mistakenly believe. The calcium is mostly found in the legs, claws, and head of the shrimp. Grinding the shrimp into a paste, straining the liquid, and cooking it with the shrimp meat is sufficient.
