Russian pilot's suit can control UACV

According to the Radio-Electronic Technologies Corporation (KRET), Russia's 6th generation fighter will be designed with a drop-tail and equipped with an electromagnetic gun.

This information was given by Vladimir Mikheev, Advisor to the Vice President of Russia's KRET Corporation. Russia's 6th generation fighter will be manufactured using a special composite material that can make it invisible to enemy radar detection efforts.

A rather special feature of the 6th generation fighter revealed by Mr. Vladimir Mikheev is that they will have "swarm" fighting characteristics in which only 1 or 2 planes have pilots, the rest will be unmanned combat aircraft (UACV).

The current technological revolution allows a manned aircraft to control 5 to 10 UACVs simultaneously. The pilot's helmet and suit will send signals to the aircraft's system, which in turn controls the remaining UACVs. The mission and number of UACVs will be based on the pilot's condition and experience.

Each such swarm will consist of a main aircraft carrying a pilot and a series of UACVs with specific missions for each such as reconnaissance, destroying ground targets, and attacking enemy aircraft.

In particular, the UACVs that come with the 6th generation aircraft will have a maximum speed of 4-5 times the speed of sound. In addition, this UACV complex can reach low space and then re-enter the atmosphere with such movements, a distance of hundreds of kilometers can be overcome in a few minutes.

Regarding the armament of the new generation aircraft, Mr. Vladimir Mikheev revealed that the aircraft will be equipped with a new weapon, the electromagnetic gun, which is capable of completely disabling the enemy's electronic equipment and countering the warheads of super-precise weapons such as the Railgun.

According to him, these super high frequency weapons are very effective, they are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to tens of kilometers. The sixth generation fighter is an aircraft that combines supersonic speed, is difficult to detect, has high security, has artificial intelligence to work and is equipped with the most modern weapons including electromagnetic.

Ultra-high frequency weapons are made up of guided electromagnetic pulses that can be fired over long distances from radio-technical systems. For example, radar or guided missiles.

Currently in Russia there is an electromagnetic gun that can disable the enemy's electronic equipment for a period of time. The development of this technology will lead to the fact that ultra-high frequency weapons will destroy targets when they are fired from the system.

However, when using this ultra-high frequency weapon in a manned cockpit, there is a problem that the strong electromagnetic pulse can easily kill pilots, so it is likely that this weapon will only be equipped for the unmanned version.
