MobiFone sends storm warning messages to people in the eye of storm Doksuri
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 14-15, MobiFone sent warning messages to subscribers in the storm center areas of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh to warn people about storm number 10.
MobiFone representative said that the messages that the network operator sent to subscribers in the storm-hit areas of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh were updated by the People's Committees of these localities.
This is the first time people have received storm warnings via text message. Such text messages will help people know information to prevent storms and minimize damage caused by storm No. 10.

Previously, MobiFone representative said that in preparation for storm No. 10 Doksuri, MobiFone had made detailed plans, reinforced the station, prepared materials, and mobilized forces ready to participate in rescue operations when network problems occurred to ensure smooth communication for customers.
Accordingly, MobiFone has mobilized all resources at telecommunication stations to be on duty 24/24h, prepared and supplemented with sufficient supplies and spare equipment, ready to respond to information. The Corporation's staff and hundreds of vehicles and generators of all kinds have been mobilized to be on duty in areas from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai. Hundreds of stations and high masts have been inspected and reinforced, especially in coastal areas.
With careful preparation in terms of resources, machinery, equipment and stations, MobiFone hopes to minimize damage caused by the storm, while ensuring smooth communication for customers.

Previously, MobiFone actively coordinated with related units, prepared storm and flood response plans, regularly updated and monitored the storm's path. Ready to respond to information, operate the network 24/24h; review and check infrastructure and station heights. Units also fully prepared labor safety equipment, information response tools for staff participating in rescue in the area (raincoats, life jackets, spare batteries...) and other logistical work such as food, drinking water... for at least 3 days.
