Division 324 gives gifts to students before the new school year

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 2, Battalion 14, Division 324 organized a gift giving ceremony for disadvantaged students in Nhan Son commune (Do Luong) before the new school year.

The commander of Battalion 14 - Division 324 gave gifts to Nhan and Phuc.

On this occasion, the Division presented gifts to Nguyen Thi Nhan (born 2004) and Nguyen Dang Phuc (born 2007) in Hamlet 8, Nhan Son Commune, Do Luong District. Each gift included 40kg of rice, 40 notebooks and 2 boxes of instant noodles.

The situation of Nhan and Phuc is very heartbreaking. When Nhan was only 3 years old and Phuc was less than 1 year old, their father passed away in a traffic accident. Due to their poor family background, in 2013, their mother had to travel to the South to work as a factory worker to earn money to send home to support her and her siblings' education. But the pain was compounded when at the end of March 2016, their mother suddenly passed away due to heart disease. Orphaned of both parents, the two children live with their grandparents who are over 70 years old.

From 2016 until now, in addition to giving rice, school bags, notebooks, and pens before the new school year, Division 324 also supported 300,000 VND/month" for the 2 children. The small gifts at the beginning of the new school year have encouraged the children to overcome difficulties and strive to study well.
