FLC plans to start construction of a nearly 10,000 billion VND project in Nghe An in March 2018

(Baonghean.vn) – The FLC Nghe An project has been adjusted to a scale of 460 hectares with a total investment of 9,930 billion VND and is expected to start construction in March 2018.

FLC Group Joint Stock Company is currently researching and surveying for investment in the FLC Nghe An Ecological Resort and Entertainment Complex project in the Tien Phong, Hai Don and Lu beaches in Nghi Tien commune, Nghi Loc district.

After signing the investment agreement with Nghe An province, FLC Group organized many working delegations to Nghe An to survey, learn about investment, and implement the next steps.

At the meeting, Deputy General Director of FLC Group Dang Tat Thang presented the project location and boundaries; planning plan and investment ideas for the FLC Nghe An complex; investment phase plan, legal plan and overall progress; and effective contribution to the locality and socio-economy.

Accordingly, the scale of the Project includes many items, focusing on the high-end resort sector: 5-star hotel; 5-star beach resort; luxury villa area; 1,500-seat international conference center; outdoor sports and entertainment area (18-hole golf course); eco-tourism area; international-class entertainment area; interactive zoo, urban area; auxiliary infrastructure traffic items...

The surveyed and planned area is adjusted to about 460 hectares to minimize the impact on residents; the total estimated project investment is 9,930 billion VND (excluding site clearance costs).

FLC Group leaders expressed their hope that Nghe An province, departments, and localities would create favorable conditions for approving detailed planning, approving investment policies, etc., especially handing over clean land to implement the project. It is expected that the project can start construction in March 2018.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee and the Chairman of Nghi Tien Commune People's Committee said that this is the project with the largest number of resettled people in Nghi Loc, and the entire Nghi Tien commune must be re-planned. Basically, the people agree with the project investment policy, however, the investor and the relevant departments need to pay attention to changing occupations and creating jobs for the affected people; planning and building service areas for the people participating in seafood exploitation and fishing.

After listening to the speeches of FLC Group, departments, branches, and local authorities, concluding the working session, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized that this is a large and key tourism project of the province. When put into operation, it will create a big boost for the tourism industry and socio-economic development of the province and the region; highly appreciated the determination of FLC Group. Despite many difficulties and high investment rates, the investors have resolutely implemented the project.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed with the adjustment of the project's boundaries and scale. After this meeting, the Provincial People's Committee will report to the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for comments to implement the next steps.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that all levels of departments and localities continue to create the most favorable conditions for investors to carry out legal procedures to implement the project.
