The French legend is said to have agreed to stay at the Bernabeu for another three years, with his salary doubling.

A day after Isco signed a new four-year contract with Real, Madrid, Zinedine Zidane has also committed his future to the Bernabeu, according to AS.

"As with Isco, the club is waiting for the right moment to make a public announcement, but this is official. Zidane has agreed to sign a new contract. He is very happy with the three-year extension, instead of the usual two. Zidane appreciates the trust that President Florentino Perez has placed in him," a Real source told AS.

Zidane will stay at the Bernabeu for a long time to come.

The French legend is the fourth best coach in Real's history. He won every title in his one and a half years in charge of the team, including two European Super Cups, two Champions League titles, one La Liga and one FIFA Club World Cup.

In terms of the number of titles won, Zidane is only behind three people, including Vicente Del Bosque, Luis Molowny and Miguel Munoz.

Thanks to his impressive performance, Zidane was offered an annual salary that nearly doubled in the new contract, from $5.1 million to around $9.5 million, although a portion of it will be paid in the form of bonuses like the players.

According to AS, Real's leadership is very satisfied with Zidane. From a risky plan when replacing Rafa Benitez in January 2016, the French coach has brought the club to many heights and is considered to have "royal" qualities.
