North Korea threatens to respond to new UN sanctions
North Korea has said it will resort to "forceful action" in response to the United Nations Security Council passing new sanctions against the country.
The statement was issued by the Korean Committee for Peace in the Asia-Pacific region and released by the Korean Central News Agency.

"They should know that the DPRK will take decisive strategic steps, including military actions, mobilizing the entire country's forces," the statement said.
Pyongyang's statement called the resolution a "gangster act that seeks to infringe upon North Korea's sovereignty and right to existence and development."
"Then there will be real justice measures by the army and people for self-defense," - the committee emphasized.
