From 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on September 15, the lake was discharged through one gate with an opening of 30.0 cm with a discharge flow of 13.17 m³/s. Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong added: Although the water level of Vuc Mau reservoir is not full, we still have to conduct a test discharge to check the technique, promptly fix the problem when the reservoir is full to safely discharge water.

The company currently has 4 degraded reservoirs, full of water and in a warning state, namely Don Hung, Bau Gia, Khe Than, Bau Da reservoirs, and has deployed mechanical equipment to open the spillway. The company has developed a plan to evacuate people from the above 4 reservoirs to a safe place when necessary.

Currently, for the above reservoirs, the forces of the irrigation enterprise and local authorities are on duty 24/7 to promptly handle incidents.
