Visit and study the management model at Vinh City General Hospital

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 16, leaders of medical examination and treatment units under the Department of Health visited and studied the hospital management and quality improvement model at Vinh City General Hospital.

This is an activity within the program "Training and fostering to improve hospital management capacity in 2017" organized by the Department of Health; with the participation of 32 trainees including Directors and Deputy Directors of hospitals and medical examination and treatment units in Nghe An.

At the program, Dr. Nguyen Hong Truong - Director of Vinh City General Hospital shared about the hospital's recent innovations such as: Investing and developing "Smart Software" in overall hospital management, new and specialized techniques; Pacs software - storing, transmitting and online consultation for CT scans, MRIs, X-rays, endoscopy, ultrasounds... to improve treatment efficiency; 5S hospital management model....

In the near future, the hospital will deploy smart medical examination cards and at the same time focus on hospital quality management, including: Building a laboratory system that meets the standards of the Ministry of Health, promoting the development of key departments...

The leaders of the units also visited the departments and rooms at the hospital which were invested with modern equipment. At the same time, they witnessed the application of "Smart Software" in the examination and treatment process at the hospital; with many practical benefits; meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of the people.
