Gasoline prices increased for the fifth consecutive time

Each liter of RON 92 gasoline increased by more than 300 VND per liter from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (September 20).

The Ministry of Finance, Industry and Trade has just announced the adjustment of domestic retail gasoline prices. Accordingly, each liter of RON 92 gasoline increased by 319 VND per liter, E5 gasoline increased by 217 VND per liter. Oil products also increased by 388 - 598 VND per liter, kg depending on the type.

After adjustment, the retail price of RON 92 gasoline increased to a maximum of VND18,111 per liter, E5 gasoline to VND17,836. Kerosene has a new price of VND13,115 per liter, diesel to VND14,441 and mazut to VND11,536 per kilogram.

Domestic retail gasoline prices continue to increase from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, September 20.

Along with increasing retail prices of petroleum products, the authorities also released more funds from the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for mineral gasoline at 110 VND per liter; E5 gasoline at 90 VND per liter; and oil products at 100 - 190 VND per liter, kg depending on the type.

The basis for the increase in domestic gasoline retail prices is due to the sharp increase in the average price over the past 15 days in the Singapore market - Vietnam's main import market, RON gasoline is 67.551 USD per barrel, diesel oil is 68.038 USD per barrel...

This is the 5th consecutive increase in retail gasoline prices in the past 3 months, with the total increase since the beginning of the year for gasoline being about 2,050 VND per liter.
