Military Hospital 4: 5 groups and 60 individuals were awarded in the emulation movement to win

(Baonghean.vn) - Selected by the Logistics Department to hold a congress to learn from experience throughout the Department, on the morning of August 19, Military Hospital 4 - Logistics Department of Military Region 4 held the Emulation Congress for the period 2012 - 2017.

Attending the congress were 170 delegates who are typical representatives of typical advanced collectives in the "Emulation to Win" movement of the Hospital from 2012 to present.

Over the past 5 years, the Hospital's "Emulation to Win" movement has been comprehensively innovated and widely developed, becoming a great spiritual motivation, encouraging officers, employees and soldiers to overcome difficulties and strive to excellently complete their tasks.

Adhering to the policy of "Actively studying, striving for comprehensiveness, sustainable development, putting the interests and safety of patients above all; all towards patient satisfaction", from the emulation movement to win, many models and movements have been promoted by the hospital such as: "Innovating the spirit and service attitude towards patient satisfaction", "Building a 5-good military medical unit", "Military medical soldiers follow Uncle Ho's teachings" have contributed to improving the quality of examination and treatment for patients, building a clean and strong Party organization, and a strong and comprehensive unit.

In the period of 2012 - 2017, the Hospital launched 30 emulation campaigns associated with the political tasks of the unit, trained 1,050 hours for over 2,000 staff; examined and treated over 290,000 patients, admitted over 85,000 patients, and performed surgery on over 13,000 cases. The rate of recovery and discharge from the hospital reached 73%, and the bed capacity was over 200%.

In addition, the hospital organized 8 medical examination teams, provided health consultation, provided free medicine and gave gifts to people in the Vietnam - Laos border area; mobilized nearly 500 working days, built 500m of rural roads, repaired and embellished martyrs' cemeteries; donated medical equipment to the Health Stations of 2 communes with a value of 600 million VND...

Along with that, with the spirit of shock and dynamism, the unit's Youth Union developed the "Bowl of love porridge" movement, distributing more than 5,000 bowls of porridge to poor patients, donating blood to more than 1,000 units of blood. The movement to donate school supplies and clothes to poor students in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and the border and island areas was also effectively maintained by the agency's Women's Union.

In the coming time, Military Hospital 4 will continue to promote the achieved results, propose solutions to promote the movement "Emulation to win", in order to successfully carry out assigned tasks, achieve many outstanding achievements, and further enhance the tradition of the heroic unit.
