August 31, 2017 15:44

(Baonghean.vn) - Site clearance work at the DKC Petroleum Depot in Nghi Thiet Commune encountered difficulties because three land plots of three households had not yet been handed over to the Project.

Up to now, the site clearance work at the DKC Petroleum Depot in Nghi Thiet Commune has been basically completed so that the Project can carry out construction of items according to schedule. However, there are still three plots of land belonging to three households, including Mr. Vu Huu Minh, Mr. Vu Huu Cat and Mr. Nguyen Van Xa with a total area of nearly 4,000m2 of land that have not been handed over to the Project. Of which, Mr. Nguyen Van Xa's household has assets such as a house and other architectural works. According to the plan, the location of these three plots of land that have not been handed over will be used to build the project's petroleum extraction area.

During the implementation of land acquisition, the District Compensation Council, the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and the organizations of Nghi Loc district and Nghi Thiet commune have organized many dialogues and propaganda campaigns, but these three households still do not agree to let the District Compensation Council carry out tasks such as: preparing inventory records, approving compensation plans according to regulations. The delay in handing over 3 plots of land has affected the progress as well as the socio-economic efficiency of the project.

On the morning of August 31, the District Compensation and Site Clearance Council organized a compulsory inventory of two plots of land owned by Mr. Vu Huu Minh and Mr. Vu Huu Cat. However, Mr. Nguyen Van Xa's household has not been subject to compulsory inventory because this household does not have a resettlement house yet.

The compulsory inventory must be coordinated by district-level professional agencies and the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and organizations of Nghi Thiet commune to serve as a basis for approving the compensation plan. The Nghi Loc District Land Acquisition and Compensation Council has also notified the relevant households of the compulsory inventory. If these households do not comply with handing over the land to the project, the district will organize compulsory land recovery according to regulations./.
