U11 SLNA won the National Children's Championship

(Baonghean.vn) - Facing a very strong opponent, U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong, Coach Phan Nhu Thuat's students played with a reasonable strategy and brave spirit to win the championship.

Before reaching the final match, U11 SLNA had won all the group stage matches with a very convincing record. They easily defeated Ha Tinh in the quarter-finals and the host Da Nang in the semi-finals to reach the final match with Hai Duong.

In the first half, U11 SLNA with disciplined and aggressive play created many really dangerous opportunities. After the U11 SLNA strikers' shot hit the crossbar, the goal came to coach Phan Nhu Thuat's students when Quoc Trung also got what he wanted when there was not much time left in the first half.

Starting from a situation of stealing the ball from the middle of the field, Pham Nguyen Quoc Trung dribbled the ball, shot powerfully, defeating the goalkeeper of U11 Hai Duong to open the score of the match. A beautiful and powerful shot like a striker made the opposing team's goalkeeper touch the ball but could only helplessly watch the ball fly into the net.

Right at the beginning of the second half, Hai Duong goalkeeper Cao Duy Phong almost had to go into the net to pick up the ball for the second time after handling the ball erratically and hitting the post. Not willing to be pressured, Hai Duong U11 rose up to attack and the opposing team had a dangerous opportunity in the 26th minute, the ball hit the crossbar of goalkeeper Thanh Long.

After scoring a goal, U11 SLNA continued to deploy a defensive counter-attacking style of play in the hope of scoring more goals. And from a sideline kick by Pham Nguyen Quoc Trung, the ball found the opponent's defender's feet before landing neatly in the U11 Hai Duong net, raising the score to 2-0 for U11 SLNA.

Before threatening the opponent's goal with a shot that hit the crossbar, right in the last minute of the match, U11 SLNA closed out their perfect final match with a goal from Van Tam. In the end, U11 SLNA won 3-0 against the most successful opponent in the National Children's Football Tournament.

This is the third time SLNA has won the National Children's Football Championship. The previous two times were in 2001 and 2002.
