Singer Hien Anh said that although Viet Anh was very busy, when she asked him for the role, the actor didn't refuse. Viet Anh just "teased" her, saying, "Ask the officers if they've agreed to let me play this role yet, because before now I've only played drug lords or the sons of drug lords."
