Gasoline prices increase from 3pm on August 19
RON 92 gasoline price increased by 461 VND/liter, E5 gasoline increased by 431 VND/liter and oil products remained the same except for mazut oil which increased by 8 VND/kg.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance has just released information on the management of retail gasoline prices, effective from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (August 19).
After making provisions and spending the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund, the price of RON 92 gasoline was adjusted up by VND 461/liter compared to the current price to VND 17,486/liter; E5 gasoline increased by VND 431/liter to VND 17,254/liter.
The price of 0.005S diesel oil remains unchanged at 13,795 VND/liter; the price of kerosene remains unchanged at 12,398 VND/liter. The price of fuel oil increased by 8 VND/kg to 11,105 VND/kg.

According to the Joint Ministry, based on the average world oil price before August 19 for RON 92 gasoline at 64.183 USD/barrel; 0.05S diesel at 63.027 USD/barrel; kerosene at 62.619 USD/barrel and 180CST 3.5S fuel oil at 306.056 USD/ton, the Joint Ministry decided to keep the current level of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.
In this adjustment, the Joint Ministry also decided to use the Price Stabilization Fund for RON 92 gasoline at 110 VND/liter, E5 gasoline at 90 VND/liter; diesel oil at 27 VND/liter and kerosene at 185 VND/liter.
This is the third consecutive time since the beginning of July that gasoline prices have increased. In the most recent adjustment (August 4), RON 92 gasoline increased by VND599/liter; E5 gasoline increased by VND572/liter; 0.05S diesel increased by VND466/liter; kerosene increased by VND462/liter and 180CST 3.5S fuel oil increased by VND264/kg./.
