Quynh Luu summarizes Central Resolution 3 (VIII term)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 8, Quynh Luu District Party Committee held a conference to summarize the implementation of Resolution 3 of the Central Committee (VIII term) on "Personnel strategy in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country".

After 20 years of implementing the Resolution of the Central Committee 3 (VIII term), Quynh Luu district has achieved some important results. From 2010 to now, the district has sent 557 district and commune officials, civil servants and reserve officials to attend intermediate political theory classes; promoted and appointed 55 heads and deputy heads of departments equivalent to districts; 332 commune and town officials, including 7 district officials transferred to become key leaders of communes and towns; rotated 48 key officials from communes to districts and between departments, branches and sectors; recruited 235 more district and commune officials.

In general, the use, arrangement, assignment, appointment, dismissal, and transfer of cadres are carried out in accordance with principles, processes, and procedures, ensuring standards and based on actual needs. In addition to the achieved results, the conference also pointed out limitations, lessons learned, tasks, solutions for building staff at all levels in the coming time and some recommendations and proposals. Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Quoc - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board requested that in the coming time, Quynh Luu district continue to raise awareness of Party committees, authorities, and leaders about personnel work. Strictly and effectively implement procedures related to the above work.

In particular, it is necessary to do well the stages to proactively train, rotate, mobilize, promote and prepare the source of cadres for the coming time in the direction of openness, transparency, democracy and selecting worthy people; must link the evaluation of cadres with the work of rotating cadres; must be serious in implementing the work of evaluating cadres, have mechanisms and sanctions for evaluating and managing cadres.
