Warning to district vice chairman for leaking civil service exam questions
On the afternoon of August 31, Mr. Phan Xuan Linh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee - said that he had just agreed to issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Chau Van Luom - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Nang District for leaking the commune-level civil service exam questions.
According to Mr. Linh, the decision was made at the 25th session of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee which just ended.
The Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee assessed that, with the assigned duties and responsibilities as Chairman of the 2016 Commune-level Civil Service Examination Council and Head of the Examination Board, Mr. Chau Van Luom lacked a sense of responsibility in performing his assigned duties, allowing members of the Examination Council and Examination Board to violate legal regulations.
The Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission concluded that Mr. Luom's shortcomings caused serious consequences and decided to issue a disciplinary warning to him. Previously, Mr. Luom was asked by the Krong Nang District Party Committee to review and learn from experience.
Previously, the Krong Nang District Party Committee issued a decision to discipline and transfer a number of district officials and leaders and cancel the exam results of one candidate.
Accordingly, Mr. Mai Quoc Doanh - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment was disciplined with a reprimand and withdrawn from the supplementary review planning for the 2020-2025 term;
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sau - Deputy Head of Infrastructure Economics Department was reprimanded and transferred to another job;
Mr. Cao Xuan Phu - Head of the Department of Internal Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Examination Council and Mr. Nguyen Van Hong - Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs must review and draw experience before the District People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term;
Mr. Duong Ngoc Chinh - specialist of the Internal Affairs Department was also disciplined and transferred to another job.
As reported by Tuoi Tre Online on July 10, 2016, the People's Committee of Krong Nang district organized a civil servant recruitment exam at the commune level with 302 applications, including independent candidates and civil servants on temporary contracts in the communes.
At the end of the exam, there were 126 qualified applications, submitted to the Department of Home Affairs and Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee for approval.
However, after the exam results were announced, some unsuccessful candidates filed complaints about the leaking of exam questions and the trading of exam questions, leading to the results being biased...
According to the results of verification and investigation, the above leaders and officials revealed some content in the exam questions that are listed as state secrets.
The Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee also issued a disciplinary warning to Ms. Vu Thi Duyen - former chairwoman and director of Dak Lak Printing Company Limited (under the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee) for her lack of responsibility in leadership, direction, and inspection, allowing her subordinates to make false financial settlement reports for the first 6 months of 2013.
Reviewing the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for appointing officials not in accordance with the planning. Also according to Mr. Linh, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Krong Buk District Party Committee to review and draw profound lessons from the policy of appointing and transferring a number of officials not in accordance with the planning, not meeting the standards, and not ensuring the process and procedures (from September 1, 2015 to March 31, 2017). |
