Old man died on the sidewalk while trapping birds

(Baonghean.vn)- At around 1:45 p.m. on September 13, a man was found dead on the sidewalk of Le Nin Street (in Hung Phuc Ward, Vinh City). Next to the body was a motorbike and a bird trapping kit.

Upon receiving the news, Vinh City Police arrived, examined the scene, and examined the traces of the body.

The victim was identified as Mr. NVD (70 years old), residing in Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city. This person died due to severe head trauma.

At the area where Mr. D. was found dead, the police also recorded scratches on the sidewalk edge and the base of the royal poinciana tree, suspected to be caused by a collision. The victim’s motorbike was not significantly damaged.

The initial cause may have been that Mr. D. lost control of the steering wheel, hit a tree, and fell, hitting his head on the sidewalk.

At around 4:30 p.m., authorities handed over Mr. D's body to his family for burial.
