Building traffic culture among youth

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on propaganda, dissemination and education of traffic safety laws, responding to "Traffic Safety Year" with the theme "Building traffic culture among youth with the spirit of human life being above all", on the morning of August 28, Vinh City People's Committee organized the Youth Traffic Safety Competition 2017.

This year’s competition has 17 teams from 17/25 communes, wards and towns. The teams will go through 4 rounds:greetings; legal knowledge; thematic speeches; skits.

In general, the participating teams were well prepared, focusing on highly topical issues regarding traffic violations such as: speeding, not wearing helmets or wearing poor quality helmets, participating in traffic by motorbike when underage for students and teenagers... The exciting and attractive competitions attracted the attention and enthusiastic cheering of fans.

The contest aims to raise awareness of traffic safety laws, create positive changes in the awareness, attitudes and behaviors of union members, youth and teenagers when participating in traffic, contributing to limiting traffic accidents and violations of traffic safety order among union members and youth. Thereby, synthesizing new ideas and good solutions to contribute to improving the effectiveness of propaganda, dissemination and education of traffic safety laws for union members and youth, gradually bringing traffic safety laws into life.

The closing ceremony and awards ceremony will be held on the afternoon of August 29./.
