Khanh Hoa-01 hospital ship, codenamed HQ-561, was built at Z189 Company (Ministry of National Defense), launched on April 26, 2012 and put into operation in early 2013. The ship has a capacity of 2,070 tons, can carry nearly 200 people, crew and doctors, operate continuously for 45 days at sea, and can withstand waves from level 8 to level 10. The ship is equipped with a fully automatic and modern connection system, satellite television and telephone systems.
