Old man suspected of being murdered at night

Calling but getting no answer, the son climbed into the house and found his father dead and injured.

Initial information, Mr. Nguyen Duy Cay (born 1944, residing in Lien Quan quarter, Lien Quan town, Thach That district, Hanoi) was discovered dead by his family on the morning of September 3 at his home.

Mr. Cay's body was removed from the scene that afternoon.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Mr. Cay's eldest son said that at around 7:30, he called his father but got no answer.

Then he went to Mr. Cay's house to call him and found the door closed. Suspecting something was wrong, he climbed inside and found his father dead. Half of his body was on the bed, his legs were on the floor.

Immediately, Mr. Duc called on people to come and support and informed local authorities.

“I have been living with him for about ten days now. Last night I went back to my house a few hundred meters away. This morning the heartbreaking incident happened,” Duc recounted with tears in his eyes.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan - Chairman of Lien Quan Town People's Committee said that he received information about the incident at 7:30 this morning.

"Initial information is that Mr. Cay died with injuries on his body. As soon as we received the information, we directed the town police to coordinate with the superior police to protect the scene to serve the investigation," Mr. Quan added.

Upon receiving the news, the police force arrived to examine the scene, conduct an autopsy, and investigate the cause./.
