(Baonghean.vn)- While fishing at sea, a fisherman from Tien Thuy commune (Quynh Luu) was unfortunately hit in the head by a winch, leading to his death.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Uoc - Chairman of Tien Thuy Commune People's Committee, the incident occurred on the morning of September 13 on fishing boat NA 3229 TS captained by Mr. Ho Van Thai (born in 1957) residing in Phuc Thanh village, Tien Thuy commune. At that time, Mr. Thai's boat with 6 fishermen was fishing at coordinates 190 50' North - 1060 31' East.

While the crew members were standing on the fishing boat, the winch suddenly hit Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc (born in 1958) in Phuc Thanh hamlet in the head, causing him to fall and die.

After the incident, fishermen on the fishing boat quickly gathered their nets and gear to return to shore.

At around 3:00 p.m. the same day, the fishing boat docked and handed over the victim's body to the family for burial./.
