Teenage girl dies after getting entangled in broken power lines after storm.

(Baonghean.vn) - While on her way to work with her mother, Na's motorbike got entangled in a broken power line caused by a eucalyptus tree falling on it, resulting in her death.

At around 5:00 AM on September 16th, Ms. Nguyen Thi Noi and her daughter, Cung Thi Na (born in 2001, residing in Hamlet 10, Dong Cau, Lang Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District), were on their way to sell bamboo shoots. While passing through Kim Thanh Hamlet, Hung Thanh Commune, Na was electrocuted and died.

According to local residents, on the evening of September 15th, due to the impact of typhoon number 10, a eucalyptus tree in Kim Thanh hamlet fell and crushed the power lines, causing them to break.

Early in the morning, Ms. Noi and her daughter Na rode on separate motorbikes. Ms. Noi weaved through the eucalyptus trees ahead, while Na followed behind. However, due to an exposed power line getting entangled in the motorbike, Na was electrocuted and died.

Upon receiving the information, the Hung Thanh commune authorities and Yen Thanh Power Company went to clear the trees, ensuring smooth traffic flow on the road and investigating the incident.
