Miracles and drama
(Baonghean) - Perhaps never before has the V.League been as disappointing and bland as this year when players from teams with a chance to compete for the championship to teams running away from relegation all played without ambition, dedication, or commitment.
1.On the evening of September 8, weightlifter Le Van Cong won the first gold medal for the Vietnamese disabled sports delegation at the 2016 Paralympics in the men's 49kg weightlifting event. The achievement of the Ha Tinh athlete broke the Paralympic and world records.
This is a worthy reward for Le Van Cong when he overcame his physical disability and difficult life to bring Vietnamese sports the first Paralympic gold medal in history. Cong has proven to everyone that disabled people are "disabled but not useless" when they know how to overcome themselves. The world press and online community have praised Cong's victory as: "Too excellent", "Written in history", "Pride of the nation"... In that joy, the new Paralympic champion shared: "I don't expect myself to become an inspiration for disabled people, saying that sounds too grand. I just hope this gold medal will help less fortunate people look at it and have more motivation to strive".

So after Hoang Xuan Vinh - the first person to bring home a gold medal at the Olympics for Vietnamese sports, now it is Le Van Cong's turn to win a gold medal at the 2016 Paralympics, setting a new record for Vietnamese sports. From athletes who silently trained in hardship, they have now become heroes in the eyes of fans and of the country's sports.
2.V.League 2016 has come to an end, perhaps never before has the race for the championship been as “dramatic” until the last minute as this year when there were 4 teams with almost the same points competing for the top spot. People joked that now they don’t know “which way to go” when the players of the top teams often make “silly mistakes” that lead to losing points in decisive matches.
On the other hand, the relegation and play-off teams were determined 5-6 rounds in advance, the teams in the "middle of the table" also had no chance to compete for the championship and were in a safe position, so these teams all considered the remaining matches as just "procedures", "playing to finish"... Perhaps there has never been a year when the V.League was as disappointing and bland as this year when players from teams with a chance to compete for the championship to teams running away from relegation all played without ambition, dedication, and dedication. The "star" players were worried about "keeping their feet" to find ways to transfer to teams with more money.
Foreign players who come to V.League to play football to earn a living now also learn some bad habits of domestic players such as "wasting time", "praying to the referee"... It's just a pity for the bosses who have to spend tens of billions of dong to support the teams but the results are not as expected, and the fans now don't know who is really playing and who is "acting" on the field.
