The dangers of radiation from mobile phones have been warned many times through scientific research, but many people still do not believe it or deliberately ignore it.

And recently, a review study also showed that where you put your phone is equally dangerous.

Daily Mail on September 9 cited a review of more than 27 studies on radiation showing that placing a phone near a man’s genitals for a long time reduces sperm count. And among these studies, there is also research showing that many sperm survive but may have damaged DNA.

Among 27 studies, a study by a group of authors at the University of Newcastle (Australia) showed that 14% of infertility cases in the world are related to keeping phones in pants pockets.

According to the study authors, in most studies, this damage was associated with loss of sperm motility and viability as well as an imbalance in ROS generation and DNA damage.

Twenty-one of the 27 studies found a causal link between cell phone radiation and sperm damage. The 10 studies examined included 1,492 human sperm samples. Cell phone exposure was associated with a significant 8% reduction in sperm motility and 9% reduction in sperm viability. These results are consistent with both laboratory and observational studies.

Dr Joel Moskowitz, of the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, said the review was an important step toward a broader global understanding of the dangers of cell phones.

In 2011, the World Health Organization classified mobile phone radiation as a possible 2B carcinogen. This was also the first strong recognition of the adverse effects of mobile phones on our bodies.
