Xieng Khouang Club (Laos) donates to support flood-hit areas in Central Vietnam

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of November 1, in the capital Vientiane, Lao PDR, overseas Vietnamese from the Xieng Khouang Club held a fundraising event to support people in the flood-affected areas of the Central region.

Immediately after the fundraising event, the club collected more than 25 million VND in cash. This amount will be transferred to the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos and sent to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support the people of the Central region to overcome difficulties, restore production and stabilize their lives after the floods. Although the amount is not much, it shows the hearts of our overseas Vietnamese always towards the Fatherland.

Overseas Vietnamese Xieng Khouang Club supports people in flood-hit areas in Central Vietnam

The Xieng Khouang Compatriot Club currently has more than 200 members, established 8 years ago, who are Laotians of Vietnamese origin born and raised in Xieng Khouang province (Northern Laos), currently living in the capital Vientiane of Laos. Every year, the Club always responds to calls for donations and support for compatriots in the country launched by the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos.
