Training on building village covenants and disseminating laws to nearly 500 officials

(Baonghean.vn) -Nearly 500 judicial officials and civil servants were trained in building and implementing village covenants and conventions; legal access standards; and legal education dissemination skills at the Conference organized by the Provincial People's Committee on the morning of September 22.

In recent times, the work of building communes and wards that meet legal access standards has not been linked with socio-economic development tasks; helping people access the law at the grassroots level has been slow and the quality has been uneven.

Some localities have not really paid attention to building village covenants and conventions, so the direction and guidance is not timely and thorough, and is still confusing.The quality of legal dissemination and education is uneven, the skills of some reporters and propagandists are limited, and have not really attracted listeners.

Faced with the above shortcomings, the delegates were introduced and trained by Dr. Do Xuan Lan - Director of the Department of Legal Dissemination and Education (Ministry of Justice) on legal regulations on legal access standards and village conventions, which have affirmed their important role in political and legal life, associated with socio-economic development, ensuring national and local security and defense. Creating a legal framework to further strengthen the conditions and measures to ensure the full implementation of human rights, civil rights, especially the right to access the law.

The aim is to enhance the responsibility of all levels and sectors, first and foremost the grassroots authorities in enforcing the law, performing public duties, handling administrative procedures, improving and supporting the development of the network of legal service organizations, legal information, and legal support networks in the community./.
