Donate 60 million VND to people affected by storm No. 10

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 22, State Audit Office Region 2, led by Mr. Phan Van Thuong - Chief Auditor, State Audit Office Region II, presented money to support people in Quynh Luu who suffered damage due to storm No. 10.

Storm No. 10, which made landfall on September 14-15, has caused severe damage to people in the central provinces, including Nghe An. In Quynh Luu district alone, storm No. 10 has blown off the roofs of many houses, eroded hundreds of meters of sea dykes, and flooded more than 200 hectares of aquaculture and vegetable farming areas.

Economic damage is estimated at 90 billion VND. After the storm, Quynh Luu district directed people to overcome the consequences, stabilize their lives and resume production.

Sharing the difficulties with the people of Quynh Luu, State Audit Office of Region 2 has allocated 60 million VND to support people to overcome difficulties and overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of Quynh Luu district expressed their gratitude to the leaders and staff of State Audit Office Region 2 for their concern for the people of Quynh Luu. The district will promptly transfer this amount of money to the affected people./.
