Two boys drowned in bus parking lot

Two brothers were found drowned in a water hole at a bus parking lot in Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh.

At around 6:00 p.m. on September 23, people discovered two children drowned in a water hole at a bus parking lot (near Trinh Pagoda) in Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh.

The victims were identified as Nguyen Duc Tan (6 years old) and Nguyen Quang Khanh (4 years old), both residing in Doc Do 1 Area, Phuong Dong Ward, Uong Bi. Tan and Khanh are biological brothers in the same family.

Upon receiving the news, local authorities were present at the scene and carried out legal procedures according to regulations.

In the evening of the same day, the leader of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province informed that this agency had directed Uong Bi City and functional forces to protect the scene and clearly determine the cause of the incident. Uong Bi City and agencies and organizations visited and shared the pain with the family.

Currently, the local authorities and the families have brought the bodies of the two children home to prepare for the funeral. Quang Ninh province has allocated 12 million VND in support for the family, and Uong Bi city has provided 12 million VND in support.
