Acid attack at London shopping centre

Several people are said to have been injured after a group of unidentified men suddenly attacked them with toxic chemicals at a major shopping centre in London.

The incident occurred on September 23 near the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford. Police said initial investigations showed the incident did not appear to be terrorism-related.

In a statement, London police confirmed that a number of people were reported injured in a number of different locations, including about six people. At least one suspect has been arrested to assist with the investigation./.
